Prior to my battle with breast cancer, I was a relatively private person. Now I share my testimony with any and everyone who will listen, in hopes of being able to help someone. I honestly believe God chose me to educate, encourage and empower women about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.
If breast cancer is detected early, there are more available treatment options and a better chance of survival. Conducting a self examination four years ago to the month saved my life!
Mess in a Bottle has empowered me throughout my journey. There were times were I experienced anxiety and low self-esteem and Mess in a Bottle was right there with a message that spoke to me. My favorite MESSage is "I'm somewhere between Goon & Glitter". The goon in me is what got me through two years of chemo, four surgeries, baldness, and countless meds.

As your Dad..I shared that journey with you.
What stood out most was that you never lost your joy for life and immediately flip the switch to how you would use this experience to help others.
Within months you were able to encourage two people whose lives were possibly saved because of your insisting that they get examined.
You have always beeb an exceptional child and now a woman that has always selflessly advocated for others.
