What shirt brand do you print on?
All Mess in a Bottle standard t-shirts are printed on amazing quality, cotton/ poly cotton blend tees. Our shirts have are trendy with a slim fit, but they run true to fit if sized per our sizing chart.
What size should I order?
Our sizes range from XS - 5XL. Please see our sizing chart for more details and suggestions for fit. These are unisex (mens) tees. Women should order one size DOWN from their regular size.
What type of printing process is used on your apparel?
All of our shirts are printed by hand and custom made at the time of ordering. We use primarily use screen printed heat transfer processes.
Will the designs fade?
Some of the prints will fade some after being washed. Black prints tend to fade the most, but will still hold up for lots of wear and washes. Washing instructions are found on the tag of each shirt or keep reading below.
Are there any specific care instructions?
Yes, please follow these tips to take care of the t-shirts:
- Washing: Wash inside out with cold water with similar colors using a gentle cycle.
- Ironing: If ironing is necessary, iron inside-out on the lowest setting. NEVER IRON the printed area directly.
- Drying: Tumble dry low or hang-dry.
- Avoid using bleach and do not dry clean.
When will a bottle come with my order?
All orders shipping Priority or Express mail will include a bottle. Orders over $100 will include a bottle.
Why didn't I get a bottle with my recent order?
Did you make a MESS? Double check if you purchased the shipping option “with a bottle” or “without a bottle”. Bottles will be shipped with orders that shipped Priority or Express mail, when they are available. There is also the option to purchase a bottle separately. Unfortunately, sometimes we run out of bottles. If bottles are not in stock, there will be a banner on our website stating such.
Can I choose the color of the bottle?
At this time, we do not offer color choices for the bottle. Depending on the time of the year, we may have a special color bottle for certain holidays/campaigns for example, Breast Cancer Awareness messages will be shipped with a pink bottle.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards such as Visa, MasterCard and American Express through our secure payment processing system. We transit your credit card securely for your protection and we do not store your credit card information.
Please note that our mugs are shipped directly from our warehouse and will be shipped separately from your order.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Standard shipping for orders in the United States takes 7-10 business days. Most orders are received within 10 days of ordering. International orders usually take 3+ weeks to arrive depending on the destination and customs processing. The tracking for international orders will not update once the package leaves the US, but the order is still on its way.
Standard US: 7 to 10 business days
Expedited US: 3 to 5 business days
Overnight US: 1 to 2 business days
**Note: If the item purchased is a special MESS item other than t-shirt or sweatshirts (i.e. swimsuits, jackets, etc.) the order processing time is approx. 2-4 days.
Expedited & Overnight order cut off time is 1pm EST Monday-Friday.
Expedited Shipping for our specialty items such as jackets, dresses, crop tops, mugs, pillows, etc. is based on product availability. Please contact us directly for more information prior to placing your order.
During holidays or times of high demand, orders will take 10 - 15 business days to ship.
What shipping method do you use?
Standard shipping for orders in the United States are shipped via USPS First Class or Priority Mail. International orders are shipped via USPS First Class International Mail.
Do you offer package tracking?
Yes! We will provide you with the tracking number once your package is shipped, except for International shipments. A shipping confirmation email will be sent, once your order has left our facility.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to almost every country around the world.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
What is your return policy?
Since we print every product when it is ordered we CANNOT PROCESS SIZE EXCHANGES. Please be sure to check our size chart before ordering or send us an email for questions.
If we made a MESS with your order, please let us know within 30 days of purchase and we'll try our best to fix the MESS. Please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.
All of our items are made by hand at the time of purchase. We do not have a warehouse or inventory. We do not issue refunds on orders that have completed payment and shipped.
Can I cancel/modify my order?
